In Arica there are several centric zones that concentrate great part of the commercial activity of the city, and here we display them to orient the tourists and visitors in general, if you fancy going shopping, to eat, or just for a stroll down town. These commercial districts are delimited by a main street and its surroundings.

BOULEVARD 21 DE MAYO

Main Pedestrian Boulevard that begins from General Lagos Street down to Pedro Montt Street. In this area there are: great commercial stores, banks, ATM machines, drug stores, restaurants, bars, pubs, pizzerias and cafes.

MAIPU AND THE SURROUNDINGS

Great places to eat at reasonable prices. Here one can find a wide variety of restaurants, like for example, those located inside of the Colon Market, or in its flanking streets.

Also on Maipú street one can catch the collective taxis, which can take you to anywhere in the city.

18 DE SEPTIEMBRE

Mainly one will find fast food shops, but there are also commercial centres and restaurants.

Around these streets one can catch the public transport buses (“Micros” is the name for these in Chile)

VELASQUEZ AND THE SURROUNDING

This is the area where most of the commercial fairs and stores with imported articles are located.

From North to South, it is enclosed by the streets of Chacabuco and 18 of September.
