Annually there are two Andean carnivals in our Region that gather public's multitude.
The first carnival, carried out in the month of January, it is organized jointly by the National Corporation of Indigenous Development (CONADI) and the Confraternity of Andean Folklorists of Arica and it is supported by diverse institutions that are linked with the thematic and the objectives of the carnival.
The second carnival its carried out on February, organized by the Municipality of Arica together with the Federation of Folklorists groups. In addition to this, in the environment of this carnival the Fair of Andean Artisans it displayed. |
