Small village built with the style of the colonial towns from the mountain range and Chilean highland. There are 18 artisans together with their families, living and working in the site.
In comfortable houses which are covered with “paja brava” a typical building material from the zone.
The village gathers twelve shops; six houses; a beautiful replica of the Parinacota’s Church; a belfry; a classroom; exhibitions room and museum; a typical restaurant; W.C. facilities; and a great space to round up llamas and alpacas (typical mammals of the highlands); parking site; interior paths and green areas that beautify the environment of the Handcraft village. |

This village is located at the entrance of the Azapa’s Valley, among the roundabouts Diego Portales and Bernardo O'Higgins. With an easy access from the city centre, you can reach the place using the public transport like taxis “U”, 8, 18, and 13, and also the buses 2, 3, 7, 8, 9 and 16. |
